Dream and vision

In the Young People's Meeting yesterday, we discussed about "Dream and Vision", a topic full of shadow and mystery. We shared our own dreams, which seemed to be some "secrets", while secrets are the issues that you feel too lonely to carry, but also too private to share. Praise the Lord that we still have Him to share our secrets, and lift up our difficulty to Him, the God who promise that "I removed the burden from their shoulders"(Psalm 81:6).

As what I wrote during the last few days, almost all of my dream surrounded two topics: Death and Past. Death has been a big question mark in my heart for many years. It bothered me for a longtime and wasn't solved even after I met Jesus in my life, baptized into a Christian. Sure it doesn't mean that becoming a Christian can solve all life's issue. Becoming a Christian sometimes only means that from now on you have a new life in Lord, as a newborn baby, you just start to learn how to dwell with those issue in a Godly way and biblical perspective.

Yet death defined in Bible is actually transforming into an eternal life in God's kingdom, what do I need to worry about? This is the point, because my faith is too poor to completely trust in God, in honest. I also believe that many people actually avoid to face the fear in their heart, refusing to deeply consider this question in order to be a "Well-behaved Sheep" in front of Lord. Or they just basically ignore it for it can cause a large disaster to their Christian believe built on many year's "hard work".

About "my dream of death" this issue, my conclusion of the solution is to use a spiritual viewpoint to look at it. The dream of death is actually the trap of devil to make use feel strong desire to the life on earth, so finally reject to die, to become the resident of God.

Dream's record

Walking in a small medieval-style town, accompanied by a friend with a head of curly black hair, I sighed. That was a astonishing dawn time, with beautiful clouds surrounded the carrot-red sun on the sky. It's too much for me to bear, too abundant for my eyes to focus. I ask my friend to take picture of this breath-hold beauty, making it everlasting in my album. Wondering if this is the only chance for me to glimpse the heaven before the end of my life, I sighed.

For a ridiculous reason, I ran away left my friend alone with that magnificent wonder behind, toward a old house. I opened the door, aware with any little sound. Yes, it's there, exactly like the mysterious staff in the abandoned museum said, "Within the red-brick house is the ancient memory of the dawn". The ginger-colored fat cat lie on a soft flurry sofa, sleeping. I laugh at the cat, "How can this lazy-bone keep the memory". At the same time, above the spiral stair, a door giggled. "Magic!" I thought. Grabbing the cat, I rush to the door, locked. "Damn!" I cursed. All in a sudden, I saw a shadow swing downstairs, and the space around me started to twist inward like jam swallowed into a bloody throat.

As I woke up, my friend stood beside, peacefully. I asked, "Did you take the picture?", while my mind was still a chaos. No answer. I took the camera from his pale right hand, examining. I saw blanket, door, roof... Finally, a dark blue sky. "Oh come on man, where is my sun set?" I yelled with anger. No answer. I stood up looking at him, shocked. Silence embraced me tightly. I couldn't stand but felt dizzy and nearly puked. Under his super-big curly hair, his face twisted like strawberry jam, eye balls popped out and tongue disappeared.

Then everything became blurry. I can only remember that I went to the abandoned museum and meet a medieval knight, who brought me to the mysterious staff, by the side sitting that ginger-colored cat, yawning.

By the power of the magic cat, the museum brought back all the exhibitions, which were stolen be the shadowy witch, through its memory. The exhibitions included a gigantic, out of control Tyrannosaurus, chasing me all around the museum.

At the end, the mysterious staff told me that my friend saved me from the slaughter of shadowy witch. That is why the picture mark out the appearance of the house of the shadowy witch.

My friend was worried of my safety, so he went to find me and record the pictures as a map for going back. As the result he forgot to take the picture of the dawn. Just before he stepped into the house, he took the last picture, the dark blue sky. Just as the tears ran down my cheek, the alarm clock roar.

Dream Dream Dream

I have a lot of dreams.
I like dreams.
I love dreams.
I fear dreams.
I dread.......
Dreams, how I always define, are half a part of our life. Every dream is a piece of puzzle.

Writing down all the dreams, that is another world, blurred, untouchable, sometimes even dangerous, fearful, or, haunting.
Good dreams can be beautiful and charming, while bad dreams can be horrify and overwhelming. Or in addition, good dreams can turn bad, as well bad dreams can be set free. Furthermore, you can not always tell the differences, in other words, it can satisfy you but harm you at the same time.

In the future, I will record some dreams happened in the past or happen at that moment.

Now I am going to tell a dream happened last week, which really effect my sleeping quality few days afterward. This is a dream about death. And there will be few more record about this specific kind of dream in the future.

Usually, when I go to sleep, I cover my nose with the duvet for a while due to my nose-stocked problem. Then after it's solved, I uncover my nose before I go into sleep. But, things not always go well, on that night, I was too tired to keep myself awake before that action.

I felt into sleep. In the dream, I was dying, because I couldn't breath, alone in a completely white space. Then things weired happened. I started to recall my life from the beginning to now, the end. All my memory pass in front of my eyes just like a film, only without a box of popcorn in my hand. The same as lots of people describe after they come back alive, I read my life again, with a very depressed emotion, for the reason that this was going to be the last movie in my life, and it's a tragedy. Under such painful feeling, I struggle to get out by moving my body, because I can sense a little bit that this was just a dream, although had the risk becoming the truth.

People always say "Hope this is just a dream." when disaster come into their lives. I don't do this because I knew the truth is the truth, obviously and doubtlessly, but in that dream, I yelled mournfully "Hope this is just a dream".

But I couldn't, I couldn't move at all. I was dying, even when I think about it now, I am still not sure of whether that feeling of death happened only in the dream or not, though it might related to what happened in the real world. I was shouting "I don't want to die now, I still want to do many things, fulfill many dreams, love many people."

At the end of my life, the film, finally, my hands moved, uncovering my nose and my mouth, gasping.

Scarborough Fair

Are you going to Scarborough Fair:
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme.
Remember me to one who lives there.
She once was a true love of mine.
On the side of a hill in the deep forest green.
Tracing of sparrow on snow-crested brown.
Blankets and bedclothes the child of the mountain
Sleeps unaware of the clarion call.
Tell her to make me a cambric shirt:
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme;
Without no seams nor needle work,
Then she'll be a true love of mine.
On the side of a hill a sprinkling of leaves.
Washes the grave with silvery tears.
A soldier cleans and polishes a gun.
Sleeps unaware of the clarion call.
Tell her to find me an acre of land:
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme;
Between the salt water and the sea strand,
Then she'll be a true love of mine.
War bellows blazing in scarlet battalions.
General order their soldiers to kill.
And to fight for a cause they've long ago forgotten.
Tell her to reap it with a sickle of leather:
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme;
And gather it all in a bunch of heather,
Then she'll be a true love of mine.

By a flat rock on the shore of the sea
My dear one spoke to me. Wild thyme
Now grows by the rock
And a sprig of rosemary.

Chinese Stir-fried Chicken in Sour-Sweet Sauce

Yesterday was a thrilling day in kitchen. One step by another, just like the producing procedure in a mini factory, but with only one little machine - Me. Yeah, it was really really true.

Meal designed on the menu is Stir-fried rice with chicken, easy but not interesting at all, and more than 80 people to feed. I can't believe! Or in other words, I don't want to believe. I had a low-quality sleep, as a result I felt powerless to accept th truth. I sat on a chair used while chopping food, which now become my small corner for taking a rest and think: I was complaining about that me a chef could not get the authority to manage the menu, or get a little bit "changing". Why not today? Today is the chance for revolution! For the reason that nobody can interfere me today. All right, if this is the realistic, face it!

Finally,I changed the menu into "Stir-fried chicken served with white rice".

Besieged City

(Index of Economic Freedom)

(Gini coefficient)
(Corrado Gini)
